Marcelo Ramos, Axway SVP & General Manager for Latin America, was the guest at “Papo Fácil” (Easy Talk)—a Brazilian channel specialized in technology, conducted by the journalist Flávio Xandó.

Marcelo Ramos’ interview started with him explaining what Axway is all about and how the company became a Leader in providing state-of-the-art solutions, growing its business through acquisitions, having a single purpose of helping our customers solve their business challenges.

Marcelo gave real examples of how the different solutions that are part of the company’s broad portfolio help companies achieve a high level of efficiency, reliability and security, in Brazil and Latin America, by integrating different systems. It was also a good opportunity to remember how Axway landed in Brazil and all the industries that have benefited from having a local office in São Paulo, that manages the entire region—financial services, supply chain, healthcare, telco, utilities, etc.
Marcelo stated that Axway helps companies to connect to an ecosystem of partners, customers and suppliers by providing solutions that allow them to offer security, control, scalability and traceability of the information and data. This is our value proposition.
Importance of APIs
Further, in the interview, it was highlighted that the importance of APIs and managing them, along with how a few customers are using and exposing their APIs, as well as the fact that Axway is a pioneer in this area.
