We’re looking forward to meeting the candidates of the first-ever Axway Excellence Awards, and the good news is you have a little extra time now: we’ve just extended the deadline to February 28th.
The Axway Excellence Awards recognize achievement in digital transformation, innovation, and data-driven excellence. We see this as an opportunity to show our appreciation for companies that deliver brilliant digital experiences and exceptional outcomes for their customers around the world. As you prepare submissions, we thought we’d share a little bit more about the people who will be selecting the best project for each category.
Meet the judges
Colleen Berger is the Managing Director of Project 26 LLC, an MIT startup. Based in Boston, she helps organizations expand their reach through project-based outsourcing and expert referrals.
Colleen is a global business executive and entrepreneur with more than 25 years’ experience leading innovation and process improvement efforts. Prior to launching her own consulting business, Colleen spent 18 years at IBM, followed by 5 years at MIT Sloan.
Vince Padua is Axway’s Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. Vince Padua guides his team in innovating the technology and products that combine to form the company’s industry-leading enterprise integration platform. His focus is to capitalize on technology trends, drive portfolio and architecture transformation, accelerate new business models, and foster co-innovation with partners, developer communities, and customers.
Prior to joining Axway, Vince spent 18 years driving innovation for IBM, Dell, and Intel, and has assumed various leadership and founder roles in commerce and platform start-ups. He holds six patents, a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Fresno State, and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler Business School).
Meetesh Patel is Vice President and General Manager of Managed File Transfer at Axway. He leads the MFT product line with ownership of the strategic and tactical choices to achieve portfolio goals. A passionate leader and technologist, Meetesh drives customer and technical success through innovation.
As a judge, Meetesh says he’s most looking forward to learning about the business value our customers have delivered leveraging Axway’s solutions, taking advantage of the cloud and the need for dynamic hybrid ecosystems that are always evolving.
Isabelle Reusa is the Director of Videomuseum, a Consortium of modern and contemporary public art collections. Formed in 1991 as a non-profit organization, Videomuseum helps participating organizations collectively control the management and development of their projects and optimize technical and financial resources.
Located in the Paris region, Isabelle has long specialized in cultural projects and innovation. After a start in theatre production, she later got interested in digital projects and soon discovered a penchant for API strategies.
Mourad Jaakou is General Manager of Axway’s Amplify Platform. He holds a degree in network engineering from INSA Toulouse. He began his career as an EAI consultant for Unilog Management, Atos, and Devoteam Consulting. Mourad joined Axway in 2007 where he held various positions as EAI consultant and Senior Project Manager before joining and leading the Presales Consulting team.
JB Bentz is Vice President and General Manager of B2B Integration at Axway. JB has worked in the EDI/B2B integration industry for 20+ years, with customers in nearly all verticals across the globe. So far in his career, it has been predicted that EDI would be made obsolete/replaced by no less than 4 technology alternatives, but EDI has proven extremely resilient and integral to the operation of the global supply chain.
“I am most excited to see how our customers are able to leverage the Axway’s B2B Integration Platform to create competitive differentiation for their business by driving the most efficient and resilient supply chains and trading partner communities,” says JB.
Ann Lloyd is VP of EMEA Customer Success & Service at Axway. Ann acts as a change agent across organizations, ensuring sound collaboration and an excellent mindset to develop new and transformative customer experiences.

If you have a compelling story of how your Axway products have helped generate tangible business results in the last year, we want to hear it. The Axway Excellence Awards 2023 are open to all customers who have been actively engaged with an Axway solution for at least 6 months.
Awards will be given for three categories: Transformation Excellence, Innovation Excellence, and Data-Driven Excellence. In addition to a beautiful personalized trophy, winners earn digital promotion and press and social media recognition, as well as a video or written presentation of your story to increase brand recognition and a spot in the following year’s judging panel.
