We’re Teaming Up With Red Hat To Enable One-Click Deployment To The Cloud

Red Hat selected Titanium as the first mobile app development platform to be part of their Red Hat OpenShift Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and this is great news for our developers and theirs.

As you told us in our developer survey last month, cloud services are becoming more and more important in your mobile apps. So we’re integrating Red Hat into Titanium Studio to allow you to push them to the Red Hat OpenShift Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud with just a single click.

Red Hat launched their new OpenShift PaaS today at the Red Hat Summit in Boston, and they invited us to join them in their Partner Pavilion (visit us in booth #CL22 if you’re at the show). Red Hat OpenShift is the industry’s first open source-based PaaS that delivers an extensible architecture and lets developers select from a broad choice of frameworks, languages, APIs, automation levels, and choice of clouds. This will help developers quickly integrate third-party solutions with the platform through open APIs and pluggable modules, saving time and money, enabling them to monetize their apps faster.

Titanium Studio will enable developers to build the cloud portion of their mobile-cloud applications via an integration with the Red Hat OpenShift platform. Cloud services can be built using Java, PHP or Ruby and deployed to OpenShift with just a single click from within Titanium Studio. Integration is expected to be done later this summer.

Stay tuned for more good news about our Red Hat partnership.
