Sandy guides Axway’s Software Security program to ensure the security posture of its applications and services at a level that meets and exceeds customers’ requirements and expectations, while also complying with industry and regulatory obligations.

With 25+ years’ experience as a founder of a software development organization, Sandy is a passionate leader who strives to motivate, challenge, and support herself and her team in delivering a world-class security program.

Sandy is a founding member of Threat Modeling Connect Community and Committee Chair for OWASP Diversity and Inclusion.

She is also an advocate for education in secure coding (which she refers to as learning to code correctly), working with high schools and universities to encourage inclusion of software security in all related computer programs.
