Brian Otten is an experienced leader and technologist with more than 25 years of experience as an innovative strategist for APIs and microservices to support digital transformation, IT modernization, and continued growth for large enterprises.

As VP of Axway's Digital Transformation Catalysts, Brian leads the group of API experts in providing thought leadership to help organizations build their digital ecosystems. He guides organizations in their adoption of API management strategy, practice, and technology, coaches and mentors them on new ways to work with planning and execution of organizational change, and spreads the word through speaking engagements at world-class industry events.

In addition to his consulting work, Brian’s previous experiences include guiding data architecture strategy at Bank of America and Barclays Investment Bank.

Brian is a member of the MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR) Data Research Advisory Board. In this capacity, he engages in MIT CISR data research projects and helps provide oversight, input, and prioritization through the end-to-end research process.
