As a company, Axway has always been committed to innovation and forging connections between developers, designers and startups. What better way to bring all those elements into one than a hackathon at Bosch ConnectedWorld 2017? They provide creative ways to provide better customer experiences and develop new methods for their projects.
We were one of the technology partners and presenters at the 2017 Bosch ConnectedWorld conference in Berlin, Germany. Over 500 software and hardware developers, product designers and product managers competed using open software and hardware tools to bring their IoT ideas and products to life.
To gain success in today’s changing IT landscape, organizations need to focus on the technology that creates the least amount of disruption to the ecosystem, the enterprise processes and IT systems.
In order to best leverage IOT to develop new business models, Axway believes organizations need to tap into ecosystems of employees, suppliers, partners and developers–a customer experience network–to meet customer needs and stay competitive.
Axway’s presence at Bosch ConnectedWorld 2017 included:
- Featured Presentation: “Extend Your Enterprise Ecosystem to Connected Devices” – Axway’s Christoph Wiechmann, Lead Consultant presented on Thursday, March 16th at 9:15 AM at the Exhibition Stage to learn how to address major issues in building a digital ecosystem. Insights included seamless transformation, minimizing disruption and managing security often challenged by the proliferation of data and interaction patterns.
- Open Hack Challenge: From March 14th to 16th in the Exhibition Arena, the Axway AMPLIFY API Management solution provided the Open Hack Challenge with simplified and secured access for IoT solutions to open APIs and open data of Bosch and other providers. It allowed participants to quickly extend their innovative hacks with functionality from popular Web platforms. Winners will receive IoT gadgets. During the Hackathon, Axway presented the life hack demo, “Don’t Put Your IoT at Risk,” exhibiting some key security challenges when IoT solutions are exposed on public networks and how they can be quickly resolved with API Security.
