2018 will soon end and we can already say it will be a very good year for Axway ITOM (IT Operations Management).
In 2018, new logos deployed Automator and other ITOM solutions in France, as well as in various European countries! Many trustful clients renewed their ELA (Enterprise License Agreement) or extended the scope of their licenses. This shows once again the success of the Axway Automator business automation solution among its users and the still-growing need for such a tool in today’s digital transformation and hybrid integration!
To celebrate these 2018 successes and to prepare for 2019 new challenges, ITOM decided to invite its Automator clients to the “Automator Customers’ Day” that was held on November 15th at the prestigious and sumptuous Shangri-La hotel in Paris, former palace of Prince Roland Bonaparte, built in the late 19th century.
Besides sharing good times with our clients, the event was intended to present the future version of the product to its customers. This included preview demonstrations of some of the new features that will come along with the new version of the product in 2019.
As such, the way the new Big Data repository, relying on Elasticsearch technology, can centralize all IT data from all ITOM products and from third-party sources arouse interest in the audience. Three booths have been set up for demonstrations. One was dedicated to the Web Portal, providing a customizable HTML5 interface to Automator. Another one demoed Cloud integration, showing for example how VMs can start, execute tasks and stop automatically running Automator jobs. (Learn about setting up a hybrid cloud strategy here.)
The third booth allowed customers to discover ITOM supervision and hyper vision tool: WideVision, which can centralize and correlate all events and alerts from the whole IT resources, including Automator. Customers were also very interested in the pay-per-use new pricing model.
