Axway achieves FedRAMP Ready status for its content collaboration platform Syncplicity

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), a U.S. government-wide program that provides security and operational standards for the use and adoption of cloud products and services, has granted Syncplicity by Axway FedRAMP Ready status.

FedRAMP Ready status for Syncplicity allows organizations the benefit of adding a hybrid content collaboration solution to their toolset, knowing that the solution has already been through a rigorous review of the software as a service (SaaS) solution.

Unlike cloud-only vendors, Syncplicity allows agencies to use a hybrid approach to content collaboration—with on-premises, private and public cloud storage options.

“Our public sector customers are seeking flexibility and control over where their data resides – whether public cloud or private (on-premises). This flexibility is essential to align with agencies’ security policies,” said VP of Products at Syncplicity by Axway, Vivek Mody. “Additionally, some of the more commonly known content collaboration solutions do not allow users to send and share large files.”

Syncplicity has no file size limitations, allowing users to securely share and collaborate on large files with ease (and security).

The Syncplicity Gov is a segregated environment exclusively for the use of our Federal customers. All file content and Personal Data is secured in US Gov-only cloud PrivacyRegion and fully supports the strong security controls offered by Syncplicity Hybrid-Cloud Storage Connectors, FIPS 140-2 encryption. (Include other industry certifications/standards: ITAR, SOC2, PCI, etc.)

FedRAMP is considered the standard for security certifications and is widely recognized as one of the most demanding security regulations. To receive FedRAMP Ready status, Syncplicity completed a rigorous Readiness Assessment Report (RAR) that was approved by the FedRAMP PMO.

Though created and established by and for the U.S. federal government, all the security policies, controls and procedures from the FedRAMP program will benefit all Syncplicity customers. Additionally, Syncplicity Gov Region offering is also ideal for local and state entities in the public sector who are looking for similar data center, and controlled environment for their content services.

“We’re proud to achieve the FedRAMP Ready milestone, as this is one of the most stringent product quality and cybersecurity certifications for IT vendors in either the private or public sector,” added Vivek.

This latest milestone means we’re one step closer to being able to help federal agencies simplify and modernize workflows and processes, empowering them to raise the level of service internally, cross agency, and with their constituents.”
